Mr McGinty was appointed in April 2015 for four years and his contract was due to finish on 31 March 2019.</p><p>The Prime Minister has been notified of this reappointment. Also, this role is subject to scrutiny by the Justice Select Committee. The Committee, to whom I’m most grateful have been consulted and fully support the reappointment.</p>","house":"Commons","noticeNumber":1,"hasAttachments":false,"hasLinkedStatements":false,"linkedStatements":null,"attachments":[]},"links":[{"rel":"self","href":"/Statements/994442","method":"GET"}]}
