{"value":{"id":229567,"memberId":1816,"member":null,"memberRole":"Government Whip","uin":"HLWS486","dateMade":"2015-03-26T00:00:00","answeringBodyId":53,"answeringBodyName":"Cabinet Office","title":"Correction to Statutory Register of Consultant Lobbyists","text":"<p>The following statement was incorrectly made by Lord Wallace of Tankerness and not Lord Wallace of Saltaire:</p><p>My Honourable friend the Minister for the Constitution (Sam Gyimah) has made the following Written Ministerial Statement:</p><p> </p><p>Part 1 of the Transparency of Lobbying, Non-Party Campaigning and Trade Union Administration Act 2014 provides for a statutory register of consultant lobbyists. I have made an order to commence the provisions necessary to bring the register into effect on 1 April.</p><p> </p><p>From 1 April, organisations and individuals that engage in consultant lobbying, as defined by the Act, will be required to register, disclose the names of the clients, declare whether they subscribe to a code of conduct and comply with other relevant provisions of the Act.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Register will be maintained and updated by the independent Registrar of Consultant Lobbyists.</p>","house":"Lords","noticeNumber":0,"hasAttachments":false,"hasLinkedStatements":true,"linkedStatements":[{"linkedStatementId":229544,"linkType":"CorrectedStatement","linkDate":"2015-03-26T00:00:00"}],"attachments":[]},"links":[{"rel":"self","href":"/Statements/229567","method":"GET"}]}
