I have made an order to commence the provisions necessary to bring the register into effect on 1 April.</p><p> </p><p>From 1 April, organisations and individuals that engage in consultant lobbying, as defined by the Act, will be required to register, disclose the names of the clients, declare whether they subscribe to a code of conduct and comply with other relevant provisions of the Act.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Register will be maintained and updated by the independent Registrar of Consultant Lobbyists.</p>","house":"Commons","noticeNumber":3,"hasAttachments":false,"hasLinkedStatements":true,"linkedStatements":[{"linkedStatementId":229544,"linkType":"JointStatement","linkDate":"2015-03-26T00:00:00"}],"attachments":[]},"links":[{"rel":"self","href":"/Statements/229518","method":"GET"}]}
