My honourable friend the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Justice, Minister for Prisons, Probation and Rehabilitation (Andrew Selous) has made the following Written Statement.
"The fourteenth report of the Prison Service Pay Review Body (PSPRB) (Cm 9022) has been laid before Parliament today. The report makes recommendations on the pay for Governing Governors and other operational managers, prison officers and related support grades in England and Wales in 2015/16. Copies are available in the Vote Office and the Printed Paper Office.
I am grateful to the Chair and members of the PSPRB for their hard work in producing these recommendations.
The recommendations for 2015/16 will be implemented in full. The cost of the award will be met from within the delegated budget allocation for the National Offender Management Service and will continue to progress important pay reforms previously endorsed by HM Treasury and the PSPRB."
