{"value":{"id":226150,"memberId":4270,"member":null,"memberRole":"Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Schools","uin":"HLWS339","dateMade":"2015-03-10T00:00:00","answeringBodyId":60,"answeringBodyName":"Department for Education","title":"Ofsted: Contingency Fund Advance","text":"<p>My right honourable friend the Minister of State for Schools (Mr David Laws) has made the following Written Ministerial Statement:</p><p>A budget and cash transfer of £19,400,000 to Ofsted has been agreed with the Department and HM Treasury and has been included in the 2014-15 Supplementary Estimate, for Parliamentary approval.</p><p> </p><p>Parliamentary approval for additional resource of £16,900,000 and additional capital of £2,500,000 for this service will be sought in a Supplementary Estimate for Ofsted. Pending that approval, urgent expenditure estimated at £19,400,000 will be met by repayable cash advances from the Contingencies Fund.</p><p> </p><p>As Ofsted is a non-Ministerial department, I am making this statement on behalf of their Accounting Officer, to ensure that Parliament is informed of this advance from the Contingencies Fund in the normal way.</p><p> </p>","house":"Lords","noticeNumber":0,"hasAttachments":false,"hasLinkedStatements":true,"linkedStatements":[{"linkedStatementId":226139,"linkType":"JointStatement","linkDate":"2015-03-10T00:00:00"}],"attachments":[]},"links":[{"rel":"self","href":"/Statements/226150","method":"GET"}]}
