This is an annual publication; this year’s edition covers the period from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025. This publication is available on the GOV.UK website.</p><p>The publication sets out the Government’s updated estimate of the financial settlement on withdrawal from the EU. HM Treasury estimates that the total net value of the financial settlement is £30.9bn since the UK ceased to be an EU Member State in February 2020. Of this, £25.7bn has been paid up to the end of December 2025, and the forecast of future outstanding net liabilities is £5.3bn.</p><p> </p>","house":"Lords","noticeNumber":0,"hasAttachments":false,"hasLinkedStatements":true,"linkedStatements":[{"linkedStatementId":1895306,"linkType":"JointStatement","linkDate":"2026-03-26T00:00:00"}],"attachments":[]},"links":[{"rel":"self","href":"/Statements/1895321","method":"GET"}]}
