{"value":{"id":1715476,"memberId":4888,"member":null,"memberRole":"The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Home Office","uin":"HLWS436","dateMade":"2024-05-02T00:00:00","answeringBodyId":1,"answeringBodyName":"Home Office","title":"State Threat Prevention and Investigation Measures (STPIMs) (20 December 2023 to 19 March 2024)","text":"<p>My rt hon Friend the Minister of State for Security (Tom Tugendhat) has today made the following Written Ministerial Statement:</p><p>Section 55(1) of the National Security (NS) Act 2023 (the Act) requires the Secretary of State to report to Parliament as soon as reasonably practicable after the end of every relevant three-month period on the exercise of their STPIM powers under the Act during that period.</p><p> </p><p>STPIMs were introduced through the NS Act 2023 and came into force on 20 December 2023. There have been no STPIM cases during this first reporting period.</p>","house":"Lords","noticeNumber":0,"hasAttachments":false,"hasLinkedStatements":true,"linkedStatements":[{"linkedStatementId":1715475,"linkType":"JointStatement","linkDate":"2024-05-02T00:00:00"}],"attachments":[]},"links":[{"rel":"self","href":"/Statements/1715476","method":"GET"}]}
