{"value":{"id":168770,"memberId":4183,"member":null,"memberRole":"The Minister of State for Civil Justice and Legal Policy","uin":"HLWS75","dateMade":"2014-12-09T00:00:00","answeringBodyId":54,"answeringBodyName":"Ministry of Justice","title":"Civil Legal Advice Mandatory Gateway","text":" <p /> <p>My honourable friend the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Justice, Minister for the Courts and Legal Aid (Shailesh Vara) has made the following Written Ministerial Statement.</p><p>&quot;During the passage of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012 the Ministry of Justice committed to report to Parliament on the operation of the Civil Legal Advice (CLA) Mandatory Gateway within two years of its implementation.</p><p> </p><p>This review is being published today and consists of four research reports and, separately, the Government’s response. The research is in four parts:</p><p> </p><p>i. Civil Legal Advice mandatory gateway: Overarching research summary,</p><p>ii. Findings from interviews with Users,</p><p>iii. Findings from interviews with service providers,</p><p>iv. Analysis of Management Information.</p><p> </p><p>These reports, and the separate Government response, when taken together constitute the Review of the Civil Legal Advice Mandatory Gateway.
