{"value":{"id":1138321,"memberId":4311,"member":null,"memberRole":"The Minister of State, Home Office","uin":"HLWS1674","dateMade":"2019-07-11T00:00:00","answeringBodyId":1,"answeringBodyName":"Home Office","title":"Immigration","text":"<p>My rt hon Friend the Secretary of State for the Home Department (Sajid Javid) has today made the following Written Ministerial Statement:</p><p>The terms of reference for the Windrush Lessons Learned Review set out that the aim was to publish the report by 31 March 2019.</p><p>On 8 July 2019, the Independent Adviser to the Windrush Lessons Learned Review, Wendy Williams, wrote to me about the timing of her review. The complexity and scale of the work required means that she now expects to submit her final report to me at the beginning of September. I will publish the report as soon as practicable following this.</p><p>We are determined to learn from, and right the wrongs of, the past. I look forward to receiving the report when the review concludes. I will consider the recommendations from the review carefully and announce appropriate action.</p><p>I will place a copy of Wendy Williams’ letter of 8 July in the Library of both Houses.</p>","house":"Lords","noticeNumber":0,"hasAttachments":false,"hasLinkedStatements":true,"linkedStatements":[{"linkedStatementId":1138322,"linkType":"JointStatement","linkDate":"2019-07-11T00:00:00"}],"attachments":[]},"links":[{"rel":"self","href":"/Statements/1138321","method":"GET"}]}
