We have demonstrated our commitment to transforming diagnostics through a £2.3 billion investment into diagnostic capacity, which will provide the National Health Service with the tools they need to diagnose cancer faster and earlier.</p><p>In April, we announced our plan to open four new community diagnostic centres (CDCs) during the 2026/27 period and the expanding and enhancement of 32 existing CDCs using a £237 million of investment.
