The <a href=\"https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/business-appointment-rules-for-crown-servants/business-appointment-rules-for-crown-servants#payment-for-waiting-periods\" target=\"_blank\">Business Appointment Rules for Crown Servants</a> set out that Permanent Secretaries are required to observe a three month waiting period, and the Rules set out that it may be appropriate to pay former civil servants who are required to observe a waiting period before taking up an external role.</p><p> </p>","originalAnswerText":"","comparableAnswerText":"","dateAnswerCorrected":null,"dateHoldingAnswer":null,"attachmentCount":0,"heading":"Alex Chisholm and Lord Case","attachments":[],"groupedQuestionsDates":[]},"links":[{"rel":"self","href":"/Questions/1892409","method":"GET"}]}
