I met the Premier and members of the BVI government to discuss delivery of vital governance reforms. I was clear that reform must be the priority for the BVI government and the Premier has since reiterated this in public statements. During the visit, the Premier gave a commitment to delivering against reforms deadlines and producing an Action Plan to get the process back on track.</p><p>I also met the Commissioner of Police to discuss security challenges faced by the BVI and the provision of UK support to tackle serious organised crime.</p>","originalAnswerText":"","comparableAnswerText":"","dateAnswerCorrected":null,"dateHoldingAnswer":null,"attachmentCount":0,"heading":"Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office: British Virgin Islands","attachments":[],"groupedQuestionsDates":[]},"links":[{"rel":"self","href":"/Questions/1689134","method":"GET"}]}
