This should be treated with caution as e-scooters were a new mode in 2021, and the evaluation also demonstrated most e-scooter collisions happened with inexperienced users.</p><p> </p><p>The Department regularly monitors STATS19 to examine trends in collisions involving e-scooters reported by the police. This covers both e-scooter riders and other road users, such as pedestrians.
