The Government has provided operational capital for NHS trusts and primary care which is prioritised locally by integrated care systems (ICSs). In addition, we are also providing £1.5 billion from 2022/23 to 2024/25 to support elective recovery through investment in equipment.</p><p>ICSs are aiming to eliminate the backlog of diagnostic equipment currently over 10 years old by 2024/25.
