On 23 May 2022, the review published its final recommendations, which reflect the review’s engagement with 2,000 people with lived experience and 2,800 people working with children and families.</p><p>The department will now consider the recommendations carefully with those with care experience and all interested stakeholders. This will include establishing a National Implementation Board that includes people with their own experience of the care system.
