The NIHR released a public announcement to the research community, making clear our desire to receive brain tumour research funding applications.</p><p>This has led to an increase in proposals, many of which have been funded, including a £1.7 million trial of functional and ultrasound guided surgery for glioblastoma, and a £1.4 million intraoperative hyperspectral imaging for data-driven real-time surgical guidance.</p><p>The NIHR welcomes funding applications for research into any aspect of human health, including brain tumour research, which remains a priority for NIHR.</p>","originalAnswerText":"","comparableAnswerText":"","dateAnswerCorrected":null,"dateHoldingAnswer":null,"attachmentCount":0,"heading":"Brain: Tumours","attachments":[],"groupedQuestionsDates":[]},"links":[{"rel":"self","href":"/Questions/1420249","method":"GET"}]}
