This includes £220 million of new funding for buses, in addition to the £250 million paid every year in Bus Service Operators Grant.</p><p> </p><p><em>A Better Deal for Bus Users</em> contains a commitment to review this Grant to ensure it supports the environment and improved passenger journeys.</p><p> </p><p>It also included a commitment to produce a National Bus Strategy for England, accompanied by a long-term funding settlement to be agreed at the next Spending Review, expected to be in Summer 2020.</p>","originalAnswerText":"","comparableAnswerText":"","dateAnswerCorrected":null,"dateHoldingAnswer":null,"attachmentCount":0,"heading":"Bus Service Operators Grant","attachments":[],"groupedQuestionsDates":[]},"links":[{"rel":"self","href":"/Questions/1152005","method":"GET"}]}
